Backstage Details On Vince McMahon At ECW PPV

Vince McMahon worked the gorilla position (the backstage area just near the curtain) during the show, while Paul Heyman sat next to him and produced the announcers. One wrestler joked how it was amazing to see Vince McMahon almost appear as the person beneath Heyman during the event backstage as it was taking place.

On a related note, it was obvious to many backstage that Vince McMahon and the WWE agents were blown away by the event, although McMahon did his best to not sell it. Vince appeared to be enjoying the show all night and when Heyman made his comment about Triple H in his promo directed at JBL, McMahon didn't react at first. When he realized others around him laughing about it, he began laughing, but many said it appeared to be forced coming seconds after the joke.
