Five Big New WWE Talents, Backstage WWE & ECW News Inside
Several people have emailed us wondering why some ECW names were left off the tribute video that aired on the PPV. Apparently the decision was made to honor those who passed away after ECW folded thus the reason there was no mention of Rick Rude, Eddie Gilbert, and Brian Pillman.
As noted earlier, The Musketeer and Tony DeVito were at the ECW One Night Stand PPV. DeVito was at the ROH show earlier in the say and stopped in on his way home to say hello. Musketeer just showed up with his ring gear in the event that something could be worked out.
The Hardcore Homecoming crew has offered to pay for all of Blue Meanie's medical bills resulting from a nasty ladder shot while working the PPV on Friday.
The Hardcore Homecoming DVD is planned to be a 2 disc set featuring the entire show as well as backstage footage. One segment already planned for the DVD is footage of Shane Douglas seeing Gary Wolfe for the first time in years after the two had completely differing accounts of the night Wolfe broke his neck on the Forever Hardcore DVD.
We do know that Super Crazy and Psicosis have both signed deals with WWE. C.W Anderson has not signed yet and is being looked at. CM Punk is all but confirmed as signing and Juventued Guerrera should debut shortly.
