According to reports, TNA will be announcing soon that they will be taping Impact! on Tuesday, June 21 in Orlando, FL at Universal Studios following the Slammiversary PPV. The belief at this time is that the taping will be used for the company’s current outlets overseas. Again, this is what the word is at this time. Early rumors stated that TNA was hoping to finalize a TV deal and possibly start taping on both June 20 and 21, but there remains nothing new to report on regarding that current situation.
TNA is currently attempting to bring in both CM Punk and Samoa Joe for a match at the upcoming Slammiversary PPV on June 19. Using either as a surprise to fill the open slot in the King of the Mountain II Match would be a nice touch on TNA’s part, although both are also in talks with WWE at this time as well.
TNAwrestling.com has added a new column by David Sahadi titled “The Spirit of Wrestling.” In the column, Sahadi talks about AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels making the decision to sign on with TNA for another three years, other TNA stars who got a look from the promotion up north, Hardcore Homecoming and more.
