Update On WWE & Brock Lesnar Lawsuit; Moving Forward

United States District Judge Christopher Droney ruled on June 16 that World Wrestling Entertainment would be permitted to have a discovery period prior to the court making any rulings regarding the Brock Lesnar lawsuit against WWE. The discovery is limited to only issues raised by Lesnar's petition for a judgment, circling around whether his Settlement Agreement and no compete with World Wrestling Entertainment are enforceable by law.
WWE are only allowed three depositions during the discovery and may make "reasonable demands" for documents from Lesnar. All Interrogatories must be approved by the court. The judge ordered WWE to complete their discovery by September 30th and must respond to Lesnar's request for a summary judgment on October 30th. Both parties were also ordered to complete their initial disclosures in the case by June 30th.
