2 Big Names Signed To WWE, Candice Michelle Cover Pics; More

- As we noted several days ago, WWE has been contacting indy names to come in and be a part of their developmental system. Robby & Rory McAllister are the two newest names to be contacted. They are known as The Highlands in OVW and worked both the RAW taping in Cleveland and the SmackDown taping in Rochester this past week.

- There is a two page spread on Candice Michelle in the September MPH magazine and a small cover photo.

- The 7/28 edition of WWE SmackDown drew a final 3.2 broadcast rating. This is the same number the show has been drawing as of late.

- David Tate was sentenced to 14 years in prison on Friday. Tate was the crooked Memphis police officer who attempted a plot to rob the home of Jerry "The King" Lawler and even threatened to murder Lawler if he was at home during his planned break-in. The others involved in the attempted robbery have yet to be sentenced. This story is expected to be heavily covered in the Memphis area this weekend.
