WWE Bans Joey Styles From Working His Own PPV
In a press release issued Friday, it was revealed that WWE will not be allowing Joey Styles to work the "Joey Styles' Extremely Hardcore" wrestling PPV. The group behind the event, which is currently rebranding the show, still plans to tape the PPV this Saturday night.
"I was approached to participate in JOEY STYLES' EXTREMELY HARDCORE well over one year before I signed a part-time, non-exclusive, two-year agreement with WWE in June in order to host ECW branded television projects. However, I am disappointed to announce that there is language in my WWE agreement which makes it necessary for me to resign from JOEY STYLES' EXTREMELY HARDCORE," said Joey Styles.
The previously advertised card for the show remains unchanged.
