— Former WWE writer Rudy Fischmann was said to have been extremely in favor of giving the women on WWE TV a more important role in storylines, rather than just walking around in bikinis. Right now the feeling in WWE is that the segments don t need much thought put into them, and are basically just nice breaks between matches. WWE management also felt he hadn t been around long enough to have the right to express feelings that something wasn t being done right. Fischmann argued that better storylines and actual matches would increase approval amongst female viewers.

On September 5, they put Torrie Wilson and Ashley Massaro in a match on RAW. The match was so bad that Ashley cried when she got backstage.

Rudy Fischmann was fired the next day.
