Spike-RAW Censor Issues, ECW One Night Stand 2, RAW News, & More

WWE took out numerous local ad's in the biggest markets last night promoting next weeks move to the USA Network. The company has also taken out ad's in the New York City subway stations as well.

It is very weird that Spike TV simply just stopped trying to edit the USA plugs on RAW last night. It may have been that they just said screw it and are filing a lawsuit in which they may want to force WWE to plug programs on their program next week. We'll have to wait and see but it was a little weird that they tried so hard during the fist hour and stopped during the second. We'll keep you posted.

Multichannel News ran an article yesterday on the move to USA network with USA President Bonnie Hammer noting that the network may try to develop several different TV Series starring WWE stars.

The 2006 ECW One Night Stand on PPV will take place on 6/11/06.

WWE sent out a press release today noting that fans in Canada would get an Encore presentation of RAW next week: "World Wrestling Entertainment announced today that some of the greatest figures in sports entertainment history will participate in a special three-hour season premiere episode of Monday Night RAW(R), airing Monday, Oct. 3 at 9 p.m. ET on TSN, with an encore presentation on Oct. 4 at 3 p.m. ET.
