Big Morning Update: Cena, Foley, Carlito, RAW, NYR, Loads More

WWE Champion John Cena, Mick Foley and Carlito were all over the media this morning promoting next Monday's RAW that will feature the company's trip overseas to Afghanistan.

The originally scheduled WWE event on January 31, 2006 in Lakeland, Florida has been moved to February 3, 2006. The show has been changed from a SmackDown taping to a RAW house show.

As of last night, the card for RAW's upcoming New Year's Revolution PPV next year on January 8, 2006 has been updated. In the Elimination Chamber Match for the WWE Championship, John Cena will defend against Kurt Angle, Shawn Michaels, Kane, Carlito and Chris Masters. Trish Stratus defending the WWE Women's Title against Mickie James was also signed. Flair vs. Edge and Big Show vs. HHH are also rumored.

Chaotic Wrestling stars Arch Kincaid, Tony Omega and referees Todd Sinclair and Michael Crockett were all backstage at RAW. None were used for the show however.

CMLL in Mexico is negotiating with New Japan Pro Wrestling in an attempt to secure an IWGP title match featuring Brock Lesnar. The talk is they would book him against Perry Aguayo Jr.

Stephanie and Vince McMahon, along with JBL, are scheduled for Thursday night's edition of Donny Deutsch on CNBC. If anyone catches the show, please send along a recap.
