WWE Notes: Divas, Gregory Helms, New Talents, More
Adam Lebow sent this in: Hey, Was over at the WWE website and this month it appears WWE will be showing for the 24/7 Jukebox some WWE championship matches that have occured in the last 20 years. The most interesting match, at least to me as I have never seen it, is from October 12, 1992 in Saskatoon when Bret Hart defeated Ric Flair for his 1st WWF Championship at a untelevisied house show. The match was put out on VHS release 15 years ago and once in a while pops up on eBay but wasn't part of the Best of Bret Hart DVD (for reasons unknown), so WWE has decided to add the match online for $1.50. This is the WWE description... "Most people know about this famous match that took place in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, but not many have actually seen it. Now is your chance to witness Bret Hart become WWE Champion for the first time when he upset the "Nature Boy" Ric Flair in his home country of Canada at a live event.Approx. run time: 27 mins." The only other match a fan that hasn't been watching since Backlund lost the title to the Shiek (which is also part of the jukebox) is a February 15th 1975 match for the WWF Title in a Cage between Sammartino and Koloff. https://www.wwe.com/subscriptions/247online/wwechampionship/

Gregory Helms lost both of his grandmothers over the holiday season. He will be taking some time off to deal with the deaths. We send our condolences to the family and friends.
Mike Mondo has been in the corner of Ken Doane doing the cheerleader (Team Spirit) gimmick. They have actually been calling the gimmick the "Spirit Squad" so it appears they have changed things up.
Chris Cage and Mike the Miz are going with a new 'punk' look.
