WWE New Years Revolution Opener:

New Years Revolution opened up with a video package looking at the destruction caused in past Elimination Chamber matches, with comments from past competitors. The fireworks then went off in the arena as Joey Styles and the Coach welcomed us to the show from ringside!

Intercontinental Championship Match
Referee: Michael Chioda
Edge vs. Ric Flair (c)

The music of Edge hit in the arena as he made his way to the ring with Lita on his arm, and he is set for his shot at the Intercontinental Championship against Ric Flair!

The start:

Edge nailed Flair from behind and then stomped away at him in the corner. Edge hammered away with right hands and then whipped him to the buckle before nailing a back body drop. Flair came back with chops and then a back body drop. Flair hammered away with right hands to the head of Edge and then chased Lita on the outside but she led him right into a clothesline from Edge on the outside.

Mid-match notes:

Edge nailed a suplex on the outside and then nailed more right hands before tossing Flair back inside the ring. Edge hammered away at Flair with more right hands and then choked him over the middle rope. Edge then choked Flair in the corner with his boot and followed up with a nice clothesline after an Irish whip. Edge hit a snapmare out of the corner, and then locked in a modified Dragon Sleeper. Flair fought to his feet and then Edge took over with mounted punches in the corner. Flair came back with an atomic drop and then a series of chops.

Edge then clotheslined Flair over the top to the outside. Edge dived off the apron towards Flair, but Flair nailed him with a chop in mid-air. Flair crotched Edge on the barricade and then tossed Edge back inside. Flair nailed a knee drop and took over with rights and lefts in the corner. Flair continued the assault with chops before going up top. Edge went to cut him off but Flair thumbed the eye. Lita then tried to stop him but she got a thumb to the eye as well, and then Flair came off with a double sledge to the head for two!

The Finish:

Flair nailed a chop block on Edge. Flair hit a knee breaker and then went for the Figure Four. Lita got on the apron and Flair wooed in her face. Flair then backdropped Edge to the outside over Lita, and then brought Lita into the ring! Flair locked in the Figure Four on Lita but then Edge came in and nailed him in the head with the Money in the Bank Briefcase! The referee calls for the bell!

Winner by disqualification, and still Intercontinental Champion, Ric Flair

The Aftermath:

Edge hammered away with right hands on Flair, and Flair is a complete bloody mess. Edge nailed Flair hard in the head with the briefcase again, and Flair is unconscious. The crowd booed heavily as Edge looks very proud of what he has done to the Nature Boy. The referees checked on Flair as Lita and Edge made their way to the back.

Backstage:

Kurt Angle is backstage with Todd Grisham. Grisham asks Angle what is going through his head. Angle said first of all, he thinks the greatest country in the world is France, and he isn’t a very big fan of “the black people”. The one person in history he would like to tap out is Jesus. He said he can say anything he wants to the people, but they will still cheer for him. He said they give him a standing ovation every time, everyone knows that he is the greatest wrestler in the world. He’s better than Cena, he beat Michaels at WrestleMania and Masters and Carlito aren’t even in his league. He won his first World Title here in Albany, and tonight he will do it again!

In the arena:

Flair is still out of it, a bloody mess, as the referees help the Intercontinental Champion to the back.

Women’s Championship Match
Referee: Mickey Henson
Mickie James vs. Trish Stratus (c)

The music of Trish Stratus hit in the arena as she made her way to the ring as the Women’s Champion, and she will be defending against her biggest fan, Mickie James! Mickie has new music.

The start:

Mickie and Trish shook hands before the match, and then they had a few words. They locked up and Mickie worked the arm, but Trish reversed and took Mickie down for one. Another lock up and Mickie grabbed a side headlock into a hammerlock. Trish reversed into a hammerlock and then a side headlock of her own until Mickie reversed again and shoved Trish off. Another tie up and Mickie again got a hammerlock but Trish reversed again. Mickie then scored with an Oklahoma roll for one.

Mid-match notes:

Mickie went for the Mickanrana out of the corner, but Trish reversed into a cradle for two. Mickie kicked out, sending Trish to the floor. Mickie doesn’t look all smiles now, but she invited Trish back into the ring and held the ropes for her. They locked up again, and Mickie shoved Trish down, and then Trish tripped her and they exchanged some huge forearm shots. Trish sent Mickie to the corner but ate boot on the charge. Mickie went to the middle rope and then Trish went for the Stratusphere but Mickie blocked and then went for a Tornado DDT but Trish threw her off. Trish kicked Mickie to the outside and then Trish went for a dive but Mickie side stepped. Mickie picked up the Women’s Championship and stared down at it before putting it back down. Mickie sent Trish back into the ring. Trish came back with the Thesz Press and hammered away with right hands. Trish hit more forearm shots and some chops in the corner.

The Finish:

Mickie came back and went to the middle rope but Trish nailed the Stratusphere. Trish then hit a big spinebuster for a near fall. Mickie kicked Trish in the head and then called for the Stratusfaction! Mickie scored with it and then smiled before covering for a near fall! Mickie looked pissed and went for a DDT but Trish reversed and went for Stratusfaction but Mickie threw her off and went for the Mick Kick, but Trish ducked and hit the Chick Kick for the win!

Winner and still Women’s Champion, Trish Stratus

The Aftermath:

Trish celebrated her victory, and Mickie did not look at all pleased.

Backstage:

Maria is backstage and brought out?Maria. Maria asked herself if she has what it takes to win the match. Maria says she definitely thinks she can take all their clothes off. Gregory Helms then came in and asked why the interview time is being wasted for this. Helms said when she has her match, Lawler wont be out there do to his old, dirty man puppies routine because he will be in the hospital after Helms is finished with him.

Backstage:

Shelton Benjamin is backstage with his momma, and she said he isn’t doing nothing, but don’t worry because his momma his here! She asked if he ate, and he said he had a protein bar earlier. She said that wasn’t food, but Shelton said he isn’t really hungry. She asked what he’s talking about, and he replied with “yes mam”.

Jerry Lawler vs. Gregory Helms

The music of Jerry “The King” Lawler hit in the arena as he made his way down for action with the former Hurricane, Gregory Helms!

The start:

Helms and Lawler locked up and Helms backed Lawler to the corner and Lawler shoved him off. Another lock up and Helms took Lawler down to the mat. The fans chanted “Jerry, Jerry” as we tie up for a third time. Helms backed Lawler to the corner again and then nailed a cheap shot. Helms hit more right hands in the corner but then Lawler came back with right hands of his own. Lawler hit a hip toss out of the corner and then nailed a back body drop for two.

Mid-match notes:

Helms came back and sent Lawler to the ropes but Lawler nailed right hands before tossing Helms to the outside! Back inside, and we lock up again with Lawler backing Helms to the corner. Helms thumbed the eye and then sent Lawler head first to the corner. Helms hit some shoulders to the mid section, and then a nice leg drop for a two count. Helms hit a side slam and covered for another two. Helms choked at Lawler and then hit a nice suplex. Helms hit another suplex, and then a third for a two count.

Helms locked in a head vice on Lawler. “Jerry Lawler has more Chin’s than a Hong Kong phonebook.” ? The Coach. Lawler fought out of the head vice but Helms again took him down. Helms hit a knee drop and went into a rear chin lock. Helms hit a back breaker and then went to the middle rope and dived off, but Lawler got his boot up and Helms blocked it, before stomping at the King. Helms clotheslined Lawler to the outside and then followed out. Helms whipped Lawler hard into the ring post and then got on commentary. Helms said he’s going to beat him, and then do his job for the rest of the night! Helms went back over to Lawler and sent him back into the ring.

The Finish:

Helms sent Lawler head first into the corner and then nailed a nice missile dropkick from the middle rope. Helms missed a corner charge and then Lawler took down his strap and nailed some left jabs, and then a roundhouse right. Lawler hit a fist drop and then hammered away at Helms. Lawler called for the piledriver and went for it, but Helms back dropped out. Helms went up top but Lawler crotched him! Lawler hit a fist drop from the middle rope for the win!

Winner – Jerry Lawler

Backstage:

Shelton’s mamma is shown in catering, and said her baby can’t win no matches with this food! Viscera’s music then hit and he arrived in catering! Viscera said she has some junk in the trunk, and how about cutting off a nice big slice! She said not to disrespect him, and she said she is Shelton Benjamin’s mamma! Viscera laughed and said Shelton’s his boy. Viscera said since she’s his mamma, how about he is her daddy tonight! She said if he wants action, she will see to it! Viscera said she’s nice and spicy, and he likes it like that!

The Big Show vs. Triple H

The music of the Big Show hit in the arena, as he made his way to the ring as one half of the World Tag Team Champions. Show has a huge cast on his hand, from the actions of Triple H two weeks ago on RAW, but Show now has a sledgehammer as a hand! Triple H’s music then hit as he made his way down for this one on one match.

The start:

Triple H was hesitant to get into the ring, but eventually did so. Show went to hammer Triple H with the cast, but Triple H ducked out of the way. Show then shoved Triple H down to the mat, and the Game bailed to the outside. Triple H complained to the referee that the cast is a weapon. Show went to hammer him with it, but Triple H ducked again and then Show nailed him with a head butt. Show followed up with a huge chop in the corner, and then another one.

Mid-match notes:

Show nailed a slam and then dropped an elbow, followed by another and Triple H bailed to the outside for a second time. Show followed out but Triple H got back in the ring and nailed Show as he entered. Show then tripped the Game and pulled him outside. Show hit a head butt and then tossed Triple H back inside. Triple H met him with a kick, but then Show tossed him back over the top to the floor. Show followed out and chopped Triple H against the barricade. Back inside, and Show hit a running knee to the head of the Big Show, knocking him off the apron. Triple H jumped off the apron, but Show caught him and drove him back first into the ring post. Show went for a shot with the cast, but Triple H ducked and Show nailed the ring post, and he’s hurt. Triple H went right after the cast, stomping away at it. Show shoved Triple H away, but then the Game came back with some knees to the mid section, and whacked the cast right into the ring post.

Triple H tried to remove the cast, and he did so! Triple H drove his knee into the exposed broken hand of the Big Show but Show nailed a head butt, and then another. Show charged at Triple H, but he ducked and pulled down the top rope and Show fell to the floor. Triple H whacked the hand hard into the steel steps and then mocked the Big Show. Triple H then grabbed the hand, and pulled his fingers apart. Triple H went to the middle rope, and hit a knee drop across the right hand, and then hit another knee drop to the hand. Triple H ripped away at the hand as the Big Show groaned in pain. Show powered Triple H off and then rolled to the outside. Triple H followed out and whacked the hand into the ring post yet again.

Back in the ring, and Triple H continued to wrench away at the hand with a top wrist lock. Show powered out again with an arm drag. Triple H went to the middle rope but Show met him with a forearm to the face. Show nailed a head butt and then sent Triple H to the ropes and hit a side slam. Show squashed Triple H in the corner, and did so for a second time. Show went for another, and scored with it, and then nailed a running shoulder. Show called for the chokeslam but he couldn’t get Triple H up with the broken hand. The referee then got knocked down and Triple H rolled to the outside and grabbed the sledgehammer! Show checked on the referee and Triple H went to nail him from behind. Show stopped him, and broke the sledgehammer in half with his broken hand! Show nailed a big boot to Triple H and then scored with another head butt to send Triple H outside.

The Finish:

Triple H grabbed a chair and went to nail Show, but Show got his boot up and then sent Triple H shoulder first into the ring steps. Show tried to pick up the steps but he couldn’t get them up, and then Triple H kicked him with a low blow. Triple H grabbed the chair, and smashed the right hand with it against the ring steps! Triple H went after Show with the chair again, but Show exploded with a running tackle on the outside. Show tossed Triple H back in the ring and then signalled for the chokeslam. Show went for it, but this time with his good hand but Triple H has the sledgehammer. Triple H drove the sledgehammer into the head of Big Show and then nailed him with the Pedigree! Triple H covered and the referee is up and makes the count, and Triple H wins!

Winner – Triple H

The Aftermath:

Triple H hid the sledgehammer in the apron as the referee called for help from the back for the Big Show. Show made his way to the back of his own accord.

Backstage:

Chris Masters is shown working out backstage, and Carlito comes in. Carlito said he gets bigger everyday. Carlito asked what Angle, Michaels, Kane and Cena have in common? Masters said not one of them has broken his Master Lock. Carlito said no, they have all been WWE Champion. Carlito said that the two of them are in the same boat, they’ve never been champion, and no one gives us a shot in hell of winning it tonight. That’s not cool. Carlito said the chamber is every man for himself, but it doesn’t have to be. He said if they work as a unit, they can take out the competition and it would be down to the two of them, and finally some new blood would have WWE Championship gold. Masters said that sounds cool.

In the arena:

The music of Shelton Benjamin hit in the arena, as he and his mama made their way to the ring! Jerry Lawler is back on commentary with Joey Styles and the Coach for those who care. Benjamin said that no one speaks to his mama like Viscera did, and he wants an apology. His mama said no man disrespects a Benjamin woman. They don’t take no ass whoopins, they disperse em! She called Viscera out to the ring, and she said she wants his ass in the ring now. Benjamin didn’t look like he wanted any part of it, as Viscera made his way down!

Viscera vs. Shelton Benjamin

The start:

Benjamin and Viscera locked up and Benjamin grabbed a side headlock. Viscera sent him to the ropes and went for a hip toss but Benjamin landed on his feet. Viscera hit a shoulder block to send Benjamin down as his mama yelled for his to get up. They locked up again and Benjamin worked the arm. Benjamin moved into a waist lock, but Viscera stuck his ass out to knock Benjamin down, and then slammed him down to the mat.

Mid-match notes:

Benjamin rolled to the outside and his mamma helped him up. Viscera went over, and Shelton’s mama got in his face! Benjamin jumped at Viscera, but Viscera took him down and sent him back into the ring. Benjamin nailed a knee to the face, and then a nice running knee lift. Benjamin went after the knee and then hit a dropkick to the knee. Benjamin went up top and hit a flying clothesline and covered for two. Shelton stomped at the knee of Viscera and continued to work over the knee. Viscera then kicked Benjamin to the outside. Benjamin came back in and Viscera hit some shots to the mid section. Benjamin came back with kicks, but then walked into a huge Samoan Drop. Viscera nailed right hands and then a big slam. Shelton’s mama yelled at him to get up as Viscera nailed a big elbow drop for two. Viscera hit a head butt and then a chop.

The Finish:

Viscera hit the spinning side slam and then splashed Shelton and gave him the Visagra! Viscera hit the short arm clothesline and went for a big splash but Shelton moved! Shelton hammered away with shots to the back of the neck and then choked him on the ropes. Shelton’s mama hit Viscera with her handbag, and then Benjamin hit the Dragon Whip to win!

Winner – Shelton Benjamin

The Aftermath:

Shelton and his mama embraced and Shelton has finally broken his losing streak!

Backstage:

Shawn Michaels is shown getting ready and Vince McMahon comes in. Vince smiled and asked Shawn how he’s doing. He wanted to drop in and wish him good luck. Vince said he has a feeling that he’ll need a lot of luck tonight, and reminds him that no one has entered the chamber first and gone on to win the match. Michaels said he appreciates that, but before HBK, no one had ever entered the Rumble #1 and went on to win. Before HBK, no one went to WrestleMania and competed in the first Ladder Match, no one competed in the first Hell in a Cell before HBK. He said there is a first time for everything and Vince laughs. Vince said Michaels winning the Elimination Chamber tonight would be like the first time Hell freezes over, but good luck.

Bra and Panties Gauntlet

Candice Michelle vs. Torrie Wilson vs. Victoria vs. Maria vs. Ashley

The match will start with two Divas, and continue with all Divas. The last Diva with all her clothes will be the winner. Maria made her way down as the first competitor, followed by Candice Michelle.

The start:

Candice offered a handshake and Maria went for it and then went into a go behind but Candice got in the ropes. Candice came back with a kick to the mid section and then Maria nailed a hip toss. Candice took Maria down by the hair and then stomped away at her. Candice did the Go Daddy dance but Maria hit a back kick. Candice then pulled the top off Maria and hit some knee lifts. Maria came back with kicks and then took the top off Candice. Candice took Maria down and then choked away at her before sending her to the corner and doing the backwards choke with her legs over the ropes but Maria countered and pulled off her pants! Maria advances!

Mid-match notes:

Torrie Wilson made her way down and they locked up. Torrie kicked away at Maria and gave her a vertical suplex and then went to pull off the pants but Maria reversed and went after Torrie’s pants. Maria charged at Torrie in the corner, but Torrie got her knee up. Torrie hit a handspring elbow and went for the pants but Maria kicked her to the outside. Maria hit a kick through the ropes and sent Torrie back in the ring. Torrie ate boot on a corner charge and Maria pulled off her top! Torrie then hit a big spear on Maria and they rolled around pulling at the hair, and the referee got rolled over. Doan smiled and Torrie got in his face. She went to slap him and then Maria came from behind and pulled down her pants! Maria moves on!

Victoria made her way down looking mad and kicked Maria in the gut and then hammered away at her. Victoria got Maria on the top rope and went for a right hand but Maria blocked. Victoria slammed Maria and then stood right on top of Maria and hit a backflip splash. Victoria then pulled Maria’s pants off, and Victoria moves on. The music of Mae Young and Moolah then hit! Oh dear god. Moolah and Mae got in the ring and the referee doesn’t know what’s going on. Some stripper music then hit and Mae took off her damn top and sdgfhfdhjjnmlfd WHY. WHY?! Mae took off her skirt and then Victoria attacked her from behind. Moolah grabbed Victoria by the hair and Mae ripped off her top. We almost got boobies.

The Finish:

Mae and Moolah left the ring, thank god, as Ashley made her way to the ring. Victoria kicked Ashley and went for the Widow’s Peak. Ashley rolled through and pulled off Victoria’s pants and Ashley wins!

Winner – Ashley

The Aftermath:

Ashley pulled off her own top and skirt, and celebrated her upset victory!

WWE Championship Match
Elimination Chamber Match
Referee: Michael Chioda
Kurt Angle vs. Kane vs. Carlito vs. Chris Masters vs.
Shawn Michaels vs. John Cena (c)

The Elimination Chamber starts to lower as we go into a video package. Two superstars will start in the ring, and every four minutes a new chamber will open and that superstar will join the match. Eliminations occur by pinfall or submission. Kane’s music then hit as he made his way down to the ring, and he will be entering the chamber last. Masters then made his way to the ring, followed by Carlito. Kurt Angle was out next with Daivari, and it looks like Cena and Michaels will be starting this thing! Cena was booed pretty heavily as he made his entrance, and he didn’t look happy.

The start:

Cena and Michaels started off as “Cena Sucks” chants started up. They locked up and Michaels worked the arm of Cena. Michaels grabbed a side headlock into a hammerlock and then Cena elbowed him off. They locked up again and Michaels again went to a hammerlock, and Cena again elbowed him in the face. Michaels got pissed and slapped Cena, and Cena nailed him with a right hand. Cena nailed a clothesline and then Michaels sent Cena onto the steel grate. Michaels went to slam Cena head first into the chain but Cena blocked. Michaels then sent Cena back into the ring and sent him to the corner. Michaels nailed some chops in the corner and then sent him to the ropes but Cena came back with a kick to the head.

Mid-match notes:

Michaels regained control sending Cena hard to the corner. Michaels did so again and covered for a two. Michaels continued the assault with a chop but then Cena got Michaels in the corner and kicked him repeatedly as he was on the top rope, and then crotched him as a new superstar entered the match and it’s Carlito! Carlito went right after Cena to huge cheers, and took him down with a shoulder block. Carlito then hit a running senton onto Michaels on the steel grate! Cena then nailed Carlito with right hands to boos from the crowd, but Carlito planted him with a DDT for two. Michaels went up top but Carlito tossed him off and covered him for a two count. Carlito hammered at both men and then knocked Cena down with a back elbow. Carlito gave Michaels a suplex and covered for two. Carlito went back to Cena and nailed a right hand, and then gave Michaels a right but then Michaels got an inside cradle for two. Carlito knocked Michaels down with a right hand and then Cena came back with punches. Cena sent Carlito to the corner but Carlito came back with chops to the chest. Carlito clotheslined Michaels and then gave him a chop. Carlito charged at the two of them, but they hit a double flapjack on him.

Cena covered Carlito for two and then Michaels and Cena began to work together. They gave Carlito a double back drop and another superstar is about to enter and it’s Kurt Angle! Angle went right after Michaels with a German Suplex, and then gave Carlito one, as well as Cena! Angle took Michaels down with another, and then Carlito and Cena again! The crowd is hot for Angle as he hit a belly to belly on Michaels to the steel grate! Angle did the same to Carlito and then went for Cena. Angle gave him some right hands in the corner and then gave him a suplex. Angle went after Michaels on the steel and gave him a catapult into the steel chains! Angle went back after Cena and stomped away at him in the corner. Michaels is busted wide open, real bad. Angle went after Michaels sending him right into the holding cell. Angle went after Cena but he came back with right hands to boos. Angle then nailed a belly to belly overhead and gave Michaels a suplex back into the ring. Angle took down his straps and hammered away at Carlito. Angle went for the Angle Slam, but Carlito reversed and went for his neckbreaker. Angle reversed again and locked in the Ankle Lock in the middle of the ring! Carlito screamed in pain as the countdown begins and he needs to hang in there so Masters can save him, who enters next!

Masters made the save and then went to work on everyone with clotheslines. Masters hit a nice powerslam on Cena, and then a press slam on Michaels. Masters went for the Master Lock on Angle but Angle reversed and locked in the Ankle Lock! Masters writhed in pain but then Cena went for the FU on Angle, but Angle reversed again into the Ankle Lock! Cena screamed as the crowd went nuts. Cena went for the ropes, and then Michaels exploded with Sweet Chin Music out of nowhere to eliminate Kurt Angle! Angle’s out of there! Masters went after Cena while Carlito worked over Michaels. Kane looked on, waiting for his chance to get in there. Masters gave Cena a slam as Carlito hammered away with right hands on Michaels. Masters hit some rights of his own to Cena. Carlito sent Michaels face first into the steel chains as Masters choked Cena in the corner. Carlito sent Michaels into the chain yet again and then Cena came back on Masters with a clothesline but Carlito knocked Cena down. The two stomped away at Cena as the countdown began for Kane!

Kane hit uppercuts to Masters and Carlito and then hit a side slam on Carlito. Kane hit a clothesline on Masters, and then a clothesline on Carlito in the corner before tossing him to the steel. Kane planted Masters and then went up top. Carlito went to cut him off but Kane nailed him and then Masters went up and nailed some right hands. Masters went for a superplex but Kane knocked him down and then came off the top with a flying clothesline. Kane then grabbed Michaels by the throat and he nailed the Chokeslam! Kane then gave Cena the Chokeslam too! Kane grabbed Carlito but Masters came behind him and went for the Master Lock! Kane elbowed him off and knocked him down with a big boot. Carlito then hit a modified backbreaker on Kane, but Kane sat up! Kane went for a Tombstone on Carlito but Masters made the save and they hit a double DDT. Kane sat up again and Masters slammed Carlito onto Kane to eliminate him!

Carlito and Masters hammered away at Cena, and then Carlito went after Michaels as Master stayed on Cena. Masters gave Cena a suplex as Carlito rubbed Shawn Michaels’ head against the steel chains. Masters tossed Cena to the steel and then they double teamed Michaels. Michaels came back with a flying forearm on Carlito and then atomic drops to both. Michaels clotheslined Masters to the steel as the fans got behind HBK. Michaels sent Masters to the steel and then slammed Cena down. Michaels went up top and hit the flying elbow on Cena. “Let’s go Cena, Let’s go Michaels” chants as Michaels called for Sweet Chin Music. Michaels went for it and nailed it! Carlito then comes in with Masters and Michaels fights them off but Carlito then took him out with his spinning neckbreaker to eliminate him! Michaels is out! Masters then made a quick cover on Cena but he kicked out at two.

The Finish:

Cena exploded out of nowhere with a double clothesline. Cena hit more clotheslines to both men and then a side slam to Carlito. The crowd are booing. Cena hit the five knuckle shuffle on Carlito and then went for the FU but Masters made the save. Masters tossed Cena to the steel and followed out. Masters tossed Cena into the steel chains but Cena blocked. Masters then dropped Cena with a DDT on the steel! Masters went to Carlito and helped him up. They both went after Cena and pulled him up and Cena is busted wide open. They slammed Cena into the steel chain and then got him back in the ring and hammered away at him. They gave Cena a double suplex and then perched him on the top rope before giving him a double back suplex off the top. Masters told Carlito to cover him, and Carlito told Masters to put him in the Master Lock. Masters did so and locked it in! Carlito then gave Masters a low blow and rolled him up to eliminate him, but then Cena rolled Carlito up! It’s over!

The Aftermath:

Vince McMahon said for no one to go anywhere, and this is not over! He told them to raise the cage, and the reason this night is not over will come apparent. He congratulates John Cena on winning the WWE Championship. He said there is one more match to take place, and someone is cashing his Money in the Bank in! John Cena defends against EDGE!

Edge made his way down to the ring, and he’s finally cashing in the Money in the Bank!

The match:

The fans heavily chanted for Edge as he hammered away on Cena in the corner with right hands and then covered for two. Edge covered again for a two count. Edge kicked away at Cena and then signalled for the spear! Edge nails it! Edge covered and Cena kicked out! Edge can’t believe it as the bloody Cena tried to crawl to the ropes to make it to his feet. Edge signalled for another Spear and he nails it! NEW CHAMPION! EDGE!

The Aftermath:

The crowd goes nuts as Edge clutches the WWE Championship! Edge and Lita hug in the middle of the ring, and this is awesome! We have a new WWE Champion here in Albany! Edge has reached the top of the mountain and clutched the belt before holding it high. Edge was near tears as Lita kissed him. Edge got on the announce table and celebrated his victory, and what a shocking end to this PPV! A bloody John Cena looked on as Edge and Lita continued their celebration!
