WWE Signs Huge Monster, Lots Of Backstage WWE News

- Vince McMahon nixed the idea of WWE wrestlers appearing at the 12/16 Eddy Guerrero tribute show in Tijuana, implying the company would do something instead.

- In regards to WWE introducing the "storyline" firing of Eric Bischoff as the General Manager of RAW, Bischoff was told by WWE management that he was not in trouble and that he didn't do anything wrong. According to reports, Bischoff was not made aware of any big "master plan" of his status on WWE TV. All he was told was that both Vince and Stephanie McMahon were happy with his performances. Bischoff is still under contract (earning around $200,000 a year), but it is possible the company may not renew his deal.

- Mike Johnson reports today that WWE has signed Dalip "Giant" Singh. He is a 7"3' native of India who was trained by the All Pro Wrestling school in California. Singh appeared in an Adam Sandler remake of "The Longest Yard" playing a gigantic inmate named Turley who played for Sandler's football team.
