Backstage WWE News: Vicious Vs. Hogan?, Road Warriors/HOF, Lesnar
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that Blackjack Mulligan will be attending the 2006 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony in Chicago, IL on April 1.
The latest edition of the Power 25 is now up. Rounding out the top five this week includes John Cena at No. 1, Kurt Angle at No. 2, Triple H at No. 3, Chris Benoit at No. 4 and Randy Orton at No. 5.
There is a new "Five Questions with the Champ" up with John Cena this week at WWE.com.
Sid Vicious recently did an interview and stated that WWE wanted to book him against Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania. According to reports, Hogan turned down a "legends" match for Wrestlemania vs. Greg "The Hammer" Valentine.
The word is the Road Warriors will not be inducted into the WWE hall of fame until Animal retires.
Reports out of Japan suggest that New Japan Pro Wrestling will create a new IWGP title belt if Akebono beats Brock Lesnar on 3/19. Hmmm.
