WWE News: Backlash, Money In The Bank, Hogan, SmackDown!, More
WWE Sold over 8,000 tickets combined in the first 10 minutes that they were on sale for the July 27th and July 28th Smackdown events in Israel. The venue where the two shows are being held holds around 10,000 people.
Tickets for next month's Backlash PPV's will go on sale next Saturday March 25th at 10 a.m. The show will be held in Lexington, KY.
On the Smackdown next week, there will be a a 'Last Chance Battle Royale' for the last remaining spot in the Money in the Bank Match.
Edge was interviewed in today's Ottawa Sun, noting that he wants to steal the show at Wrestlemania this year. Edge also commented on Christian Cage heading to TNA, noting that he always thought his career would end with an Edge and Christian reunion but that doesn't appear to be the case anymore.
Comingsoon.net reports that Nick Hogan was cast for the third "Fast and the Furious" feature film, but lost the role when it was learned he didn't have a driver's license.
WWE Smackdown's December Pay Per View, Armageddon, will be held in Richmond, Virginia.
