Harry Smith's WWE Start Date, Harley Race, Lots More WWE Notes

Harry Smith, the 19 year old son of the late "British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith, who recently signed a contract over WrestleMania weekend with WWE has confirmed when he will be joining the roster. On Smith's official myspace.com page, he has stated that he will be fulfilling all of his independent bookings before he starts with WWE. Smith goes on to state that as of right now (we all know how much WWE changes their plans) he will be starting with WWE on June 3rd. Smith notes that he will not be required to go to Ohio Valley Wrestling like most new WWE signees, and he will be starting right off the bat on the main WWE roster. It is not known which roster, RAW or SmackDown, Smith will be a part of. Saturday June 3rd, WWE is running a RAW house show in Bowling Green, Kentucky and a SmackDown house show in East Lansing, MI. It appears one of these towns is where Smith will join the WWE crew full time.

For those interested, a Plug and Play WWE video game at Wal-Mart has been marked down to a very low $4.88, down from $20.

WWE.com has added an interview with Harley Race where he talks about the return of the King of the Ring tournament and winning it back in 1986.

WWE SmackDown will not air on Friday night next week in Los Angeles due to baseball.

On a related note, SmackDown can be seen tomorrow night at 8pm in New York. The show was preempted due to Nets basketball.
