Mysterio, Cena, Michaels victorious at WrestleMania

John Cena forced Triple H to tap out with the FU to end WrestleMania 22 in Chicago. Triple H was the favorite to take the title and was also the crowd favorite, as Cena was heavily booed during the match.

Rey Mysterio pinned Randy Orton in the Smackdown! triple threat main event to win the World title. Mysterio is the smallest World Champion in history.

In other title changes, JBL won the U.S. title by defeating Chris Benoit and Mickie James won the Women's title by defeating Trish Stratus.

Other matches saw Shawn Michaels defeat Vince McMahon with sweet chin music, Torrie Wilson pinned Candice Michelle in the Playboy Pillow Fight, the Undertaker beat Mark Henry in a casket match after hitting Henry with a tombstone, the Boogeyman beat Booker T and Sharmell by pinning Booker with the pump handle slam, Edge beat Mick Foley, Rob Van Dam won the Money in the Bank match and Kane and the Big Show retained the WWE Tag Team Titles.
