Next Week's SmackDown, Harry Smith, Savage & More

On the WWE mobile text message service, a poll was sent out asking people as to who should be inducted into next year's WWE Hall of Fame in Detroit. The candidates listed include Randy Savage, The Ultimate Warrior, Owen Hart, and Bruno Sammartino.

Harry Smith confirmed his upcoming WWE arrival on a bulletin post on his MySpace page. Unlike most signees, Smith will bypass the developmental leagues and immediately join the WWE roster. He is scheduled to join the main roster in May.

"Hello everybody. I am currently in Germany right now filling out some commitments. YES, the rumors are true, I am signing with the WWE when I return home. The contract is to start on the main roster, and I will bypass OVW or any other developmental camps. I want to thank my friends and family so much for always being there for me, but I especially want to thank my fans. You have all been a true support to me. I am looking forward to coming home also!!!"

SmackDown will be preempted next Friday in the New York City market. SmackDown will air next Saturday at 9 p.m.
