- WWE sent out a poll via its new mobile alert system asking fans who they would rather see inducted into next year's WWE Hall of Fame between Randy Savage, Bruno Sammartino, Owen Hart, and The Ultimate Warrior.

- The 4-disc Hulk Hogan Anthology DVD that was originally due out this month is now scheduled to be released in November.

- The death of promoter Victor Quinones, 46, on 4/2 has cast doubt about the future of the IWA Puerto Rico promotion. The IWA has been running in the red for some time, but kept afloat by Quinones' other business interests. Savio Vega and Miguel Perez also own a portion of the company, but neither have deep pockets. The majority interest in the IWA will likely be transferred to Quinones' brother who has no wrestling knowledge, and would rather be bought out. Dave Meltzer reports that there is also talk of seeking outside financial backing to keep the company alive.

- Mike Donovan, Richard Hollis and Krista Thrill joined World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. s newly formed in-house distribution and affiliate marketing group. Donovan, formerly with Starz Entertainment Group LLC, was named director, affiliate sales, Western region. Hollis, who also comes to WWE from Starz Entertainment, was named account executive, Northeast region. And Thrill, who had been with Kreiss Enterprises, is WWE s new account executive, Southeast region.
