ECW TV Taping Plans, Major Backstage SmackDown! Issues, More
- The plan right now remains to tape ECW at the Smackdown taping. On the east coast they will tape ECW after Smackdown and on the west coast before Smackdown. The show will then air a short time later on Sci-Fi. ECWWrestlingNews.com has the latest on which major names have signed on with the brand.

- Five to six rewrites were done for Smackdown at the taping yesterday, making it one of the more chaotic tapings in awhile. There is usually only one rewrite at the taping. Because of the ECW brand being started, WWE creative is in a bit of a hectic state right now.
- WWE has changed the times of their 7/3 and 7/31 supershow tapings to 5:30PM ET.This was likely done to make room for ECW that will also be taped during the supershows.
