Kane's Movie, Heyman/Foley Debate Tonight, RAW News, & More

Wade Keller of the Pro Wrestling Torch is reporting that according to early estimates from Boxofficemojo.com, WWE Films' "See No Evil" starring Kane grossed $2.53 million in its second weekend to finish at No. 7 overall for the weekend. The film was shown in 1,270 theaters this weekend, up slightly from 1,253 theaters the film debuted in. The movie averaged $1,992 per theater and placed fifth overall in that category. It should be noted that the movie has already covered production budget costs as the movie was completed with an $8 million budget and has grossed $8.493 million to date.

The preview for WWE Monday Night RAW tonight on many digital cable services lists the following: "A look at the destruction of The Spirit Squad." Whether this is a mistake or a planned angle remains to be seen. Either way, it is worth mentioning.

As previously reported, scheduled for RAW tonight is Triple H vs. Kenny of the Spirit Squad (which could pertain to that preview above) and Paul Heyman facing off with Mick Foley again. The early word was that the two would be having a debate on the show. Vince McMahon will also be announcing RAW's new General Manager right as the show kicks off according to WWE.com.

As reported earlier, WWE will be running a House Show event with the SmackDown brand in Puerto Rico in late June. The company also will make stops in The Dominican Republic and Panama City this summer as well.

The Washington Post has an article up taking a look at the new film "Southland Tales" starring The Rock. It is a very negative review of the movie that was screened at the Cannes Film Festival.
