New OVW World Champion, Trish's Injury, RAW News, Lots More

From Adam Lebow: Due to NHL Playoff hockey (New Jersey @ Carolina), WWE Raw will be preempted in Canada on May 8th, resulting in a start time of 10pm (Eastern, unless the game runs long) and shown on tape delay. The usual midnight replay (May 9th, or late on the 8th) is still scheduled, as is the 3:30 am replay on the 10th (late 9th). The following week, RAW will be shown LIVE on TSN without a tape delay, as CBC and not TSN will air the hockey game that evening. Depending on which teams advance to the Conference Championships, there is still the possibility for preemptions on TSN in 2 weeks time.

Trish Stratus commented on her Backlash injury on WWE's web site. "Considering how nasty the replay looked, I'm pretty lucky with how I feel. I have barely any pain or discomfort and remarkably good mobility. The doc said I'm lucky that I'm so flexible, to me, it looked like I was doing a Ma-Trish over the top! Next time I'll keep the Ma-Trish's in the ring...which I'll be back inside of in no time at all!"

From Adrian Bracero: According to WWE.com, Trish is ranked 3rd among the top 5 most viewed RAW Superstars on their website. Other Divas include Women's Champion Mickie James (5th) and Maria (4th). WWE Champion John Cena (1st) and "The King of Kings" Triple H (2nd) also made the list.

CM Punk won the OVW world title tonight at the weekly taping at the Davis Arena, beating Gunner Nelson Scott (Brent Albright) in a strap match.
