The following are some news and notes from the UFC 60 show this past weekend in Los Angeles courtesy of WWW.MMANEWS.COM:

-K-1 officials and management was in attendance along with former PRIDE mega star-turned recent K-1 HERO's star Kazushi Sakuraba. They were seated with the Zuffa brass, including president Dana White during the show.

-Gary Goodridge, another K-1 fighter and former PRIDE (and early days UFC) competitor was there. They mispelled his name during the predictions for the Gracie-Hughes match. How nice.

-Famous street fighter Kimbo Slice was at the show. He's the man Sean Gannon beat in an underground street fight that was taped and shown all over the internet, which eventually led to Gannon getting in trouble with his career (a Boston police officer) and wound up getting him a shot in the UFC, a one time and out deal where he was brutalized by a lackluster fighter.

-Anderson Silva vs. Chris Leben is confirmed to headline the June 28 Ultimate Fight Night special on Spike TV.

-Former Welterweight title contender Karo "The Heat" Parisyan told the MMAWeekly.com radio crew he is scheduled to fight the winner of the Diego Sanchez vs. John Alessio fight from UFC 60, which turned out to be Sanchez. That fight is tenatively scheduled for UFC 62 on August 26 in Las Vegas.

-UFC 61 "Bitter Rivals" is confirmed for July 8th in Las Vegas with a double main event of Tim Sylvia vs. Andrei Arlovski for the Heavyweight title in a rubber match, and in a rematch from one of the UFC's biggest money main-events in history it will be Ultimate Fighter 3 coaches Ken Shamrock and Tito Ortiz squaring off again.

-The Rock of WWE and movie fame was in attendance. His hair is grown out and curly. Much longer than his hair ever was in WWE (unless you count his smiley early days).
