Big TNA Update: Waltman, iMPACT! Rating, Sabu, Slammiversary, & More

Sean Waltman remains under contract with MTV's "Wrestling Society X" project.

TNA has added the video package that aired during the Slammiversary PPV on their website highlighting some events from the last four years in the company at TNAWrestling.com.

TNA's website is still pushing the sweepstakes where the winner will get an all-expense paid trip for two people to the No Surrender PPV in September, seats for the iMPACT! tapings and a dinner on the night before the PPV with TNA Knockout Christy Hemme.

ECW's Sabu, TNA's Scott D'Amore and Zach Gowen were all backstage at ROH's event last night in Detroit, MI. Sabu watched most of the show from the back of the crowd.

The 6/22 edition of TNA iMPACT! drew a final 1.1 cable rating. This is up from the 0.8 rating the show did last week, which was partially because of the show being bumped an hour later and stiff competition from the NBA Finals. This is also up from the show 2 weeks ago which did a 1.0. Some are saying that this was the first week Impact did not have the UFC Ultimate Fighter 3 lead-in, so that this number was drawn completely by TNA and therefore very impressive. However, this is incorrect. Last week's episode of Ultimate Fighter 3 was replayed before Impact this week, so TNA did have the ever precious UFC lead-in.
