– Vince McMahon had a lot more control over this year s One Night Stand PPV, whereas last year he just sat back and let Heyman do it all.
– When the USA Network reps watched this year s One Night Stand PPV they flipped out at the crowd chants, and insisted that ECW on Sci-Fi be taped ahead of time to edit out any crowd chants.

– The backstage reaction to the debut of ECW on Sci-Fi is even worse than how most fans reacted. One wrestler said "I don't get why they don't get it. They're trying to fake it. There's no way Paul Heyman would have written that crap."
