Fairplay/ECW, WWE Tests For Drugs Before Vengeance, More

There have been some rumblings between Jonny Fairplay and ECW – moreso on Fairplay's part. Fairplay really, really, really wants to join ECW. However, Fairplay doesn't exactly fit the "ECW image" and it is not known if the likes of Vince McMahon, Paul Heyman and Tommy Dreamer want to bring him in.

The Pro Wrestling Torch is reporting that there was another round of WWE drug testing at the Vengeance PPV last night in Charlotte. The tests also applied to ECW stars now under contract with the company. It should be noted that many WWE wrestlers were interested to find out if any of the ECW stars will end up passing the tests clean or not. The early word is that Vince McMahon doesn't want to invest TV time into ECW stars that haven't proved to the company that they are clean and ready for a big push. Although some critcized the testings earlier this year, WWE has become very aggressive about them and have already removed Chris Masters and Joey Mecury from the road as a result.

Johnny Jeter is one wrestler who's been taking the Wellness policy seriously. His physique has changed quite a bit in the last month or so.
