New Free Video Interviews With MMA Fighters, IFL Coverage, More
MMANews.com continues to set the standard for mixed-martial arts coverage in the United States as we were on hand for the International Fight League (IFL) championship show from Atlantic City, New Jersey last night. The show, which aired on FOX Sports Net today was said to be a complete success and if you missed the event we've got you covered!
First up, our new MMA radio show that will debut in about a week with Luis Cruz and Ultimate Fighter 2/active UFC fighter Seth Petruzelli. One half of that equation was at the IFL show for MMANews.com website coverage, Mr. Luiz Cruz.
Luis brought back with him five exclusive backstage one-on-one video interviews with several fighters and legendary coaches. He also brought the post fight press conference which features some very big announcements. And last but not least, over two-hundred very clear photos from the event itself.
Who are the five video interviews? We've got words from former UFC Heavyweight champion Ricco Rodriguez who is returning on the major WFA "King of the Streets" pay-per view. We talked with former UFC Welterweight champion and PRIDE veteran Carlos Newton. UFC legend and one of the best kickboxers in America Maurice Smith stopped by to chat with us for a few minutes. Controversial former UFC veteran Wes Sims spoke about his fight with Daniel Gracie on the IFL card, a fight he lost by submission. And finally, we spoke with Renzo Gracie who offers his thoughts on his upcoming mega-fight with former UFC Welterweight champion and leader of the Miletich Fighting Systems, Pat Miletich. Miletich is returning to MMA fighting for the first time in several years, and he'll fight the legendary Gracie in September. Find out what Renzo Gracie had to say about the match and much more!
