RVD/WWE Title Update, Vengeance, Edge, More

In the opening segment of WWE RAW, Paul Heyman addressed everyone on the WWE Championship situation. Heyman stated since last night's match between John Cena and Rob Van Dam were contested under "ECW Rules", that meant that "anything goes", thus Van Dam is the official new WWE World champion.

Paul Heyman also announced that tomorrow on the debut of ECW on Sci Fi, RVD will name the WWE belt "The ECW championship."

Heyman also added that Edge is indeed the top contender and said that RVD would defend the belt against him at Vengeance. Heyman invited Edge and Lita to come and witness RVD s proclamation tomorrow.
