Another Wrestling Promotion Gets Cable Deal, Unforgiven, SmackDown!, Luger, More

SmackDown is from the Wachovia Center tonight, a venue that has hosted many WWE events over the years. WWE.com has an article on the wrestling history at the Wachovia Center.

Marvin Ward's TNT Pro Wrestling (formerly Ward Family Promotions), which has been running regularly in the Virginia area for several years, announced today that they have signed a three year deal with fledgling cable network MavTV to debut a weekly one hour series on Wednesdays at 9 PM starting 9/20. An official press release is expected shortly. The promotion features several known stars such as Orlando Jordan, Heidenreich, Chris Cage, Aaron Aguilera (Jesus), The Heartbreakers Antonio Thomas & Romeo Roselli, and Tank Toland as the primary stars. Also advertised for the first TV taping are TNT "General Manager" Dennis Condrey, April Hunter, Todd Stone, Short Sleeve Sampson, Phil Brown, and Bobby Houston.
