Edge Wins WWE Title On RAW, Major Backstage Reason For It
Last nights RAW just goes to show you how fast the WWE creative team can change things. The RAW script was heavily re-written during the day yesterday.
The end result was Rob Van Dam losing the WWE title and Sabu not even appearing at the show. Sabu and Rob Van Dam had been scheduled to team up for the RAW tag match.

Van Dam had known that WWE was going to be taking the title off him at Saturday Nights Main Event. That was the big switch which WWE had hoped to draw a rating on. They obviously hotshotted the angle last night on RAW due to RVD's drug charges.
