This means SmackDown will be airing head-to-head with Saturday Night's Main Event in the New York/New Jersey, Washington D.C., Hartford and Syracuse markets.

The dark match main event being advertised for the WWE RAW event in San Antonio is John Cena "defending his belt" against Edge in a Street Fight. Now this could be giving away that John Cena will be regaining the WWE championship on Saturday Night s Main Event, however there are a number of advertisements lately with John Cena listed as WWE Champion.

The WWE SmackDown taping & live ECW TV broadcast on August 29th, 2006 has been moved from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut to the Sovereign Center in Reading, Pennsylvania.
