Austin Aries Backstage At iMPACT!, TNA Star Done, Lots More Inside

Austin Aries was in Orlando, FL this past Monday for the TNA TV tapings at Universal Studios. Aries was taping vignettes for his return to TNA as "Austin Starr." Aries revealed on his official website recently that he has signed a long-term deal with TNA.

Roderick Strong is not expected to return to TNA. Although Strong returned to TNA this past April after a suspension that started in February, he opted to not sign a contract with the company. He remains active with Ring of Honor and other independent promotions.

As noted earlier this week, TNA brought WWE Hall of Famers Bobby Heenan and Sherri Martel to the TV tapings this past Monday night in Orlando to help further the current Bobby Roode storyline where he is seeking out a new manager. The pre-taped segments involving Heenan and Martel will be airing on Spike TV in the next few weeks before the No Surrender PPV.
