WWE Trying To Keep JBL; Deal Reached?

We reported earlier here that JBL may be leaving WWE following the company s No Mercy PPV early next month in order to pursue his full time career as an investment banker. According to an update by Dave Meltzer (editor of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter), this may not be the case.

It appears as if WWE wants to keep JBL as a color commentator for the SmackDown brand and have already began negotiations on a deal that will keep him. There is even a possibility that the new deal may have already been reached.
