Angle Vs. Lesnar?, UFC/Puder/Angle, Sting, Backstage News

As noted by TNAWrestlingNews.com, Sting was let in on the Angle signing. Sting was in Nashville when Angle came in to tape his vignettes. Dixie Carter, Kurt Angle, Dave Hawk (Angle's agent), and Sting all had dinner on Dixie the night of the taping.

Had UFC signed Kurt Angle, he wouldn't have had a match until next summer. He would have appeared on Ultimate Fighter 5, likely leading to match with Daniel Puder.

According to Dana White, Kurt Angle did come to UFC with his TNA offer and UFC topped it. "They have to be paying him a boatload of money," said White.

Speaking of money, Angle did turn down a $500,000 offer to face Roger Gracie.

Tokyo Sports reported that Hero's made an offer to Angle, hoping to set up an Angle vs. Brock Lesnar match.
