Breaking News: Top SD! Creative Team Writer Quits

Alex Greenfield has given notice to WWE and is quitting as head of the Smackdown writing team. Greenfield is leaving to pursue several projects in Hollywood that were set in motion before he joined WWE. With all of these projects getting in motion, it would be impossible for him to continue with his current duties, especially with the travel.

Greenfield was upfront about wanting to leave and it is said that he would be welcomed back to the company down the line if he wished, but the Mcmahons were not happy about the departure. Greenfield looks to be finishing up this week, and for now it looks as if Michael Hayes will head the Smackdown Creative team.
