Gouveia Out, McFedries In At UFC 65 "Bad Intentions"

Due to suffering a rib injury in training, Wilson Gouveia is out of his originally scheduled pay-per view bout with Alessio Sakara at UFC 65 "Bad Intentions" on November 18th.

UFC has found the replacement and made it official, as Drew McFedries will step in on short notice to fight the dangerous striker.

McFedries has a 4-1 professional MMA record with his last fight being just over three weeks ago at Extreme Challenge 71, where he defeated Brian Monahan in the first round. McFedries' most notable opponent was his pro MMA debut in September of 2001, where he lost to Nate Quarry by TKO at Extreme Challenge 43.
