Joey Mercury Returns, Gymini's Comeback, 2 ECW Debuts, More

Joey Mercury, formerly of the MNM team with Johnny Nitro and Melina, made his in-ring return for Ohio Valley Wrestling recently after being taken off the road for failing a WWE drug test through the company's new Wellness Policy. There remains no word on when Mercury will be brought back to WWE and if he will end up on Smackdown, Raw or even ECW. With Smackdown's roster become increasingly depleted, one would assume he would be returning to that brand instead.

The Gymini (formerly The Shane Twins) are scheduled to return to the Smackdown brand this week or later this month. Both have been working down in Deep South Wrestling lately, WWE's developmental territory.

Rodney Mack and DSW developmental worker Eric Perez debuted for the ECW brand this weekend working the house shows. Perez had wrestled in Puerto Rico before signing his developmental deal, and Mack was in ECW during it's last year as well as had runs on Smackdown and Raw.

Marty Jannetty and Brad Armstrong are expected to start soon on the ECW side of things, working the house shows.
