In the USA Today features a large article on "The Marine" feature film, touting the John Cena/Kelly Carlson pairing in the film as a throwback to the days of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sharon Stone in "Total Recall" featuring comments from film critic Leonard Maltin who noted that the time is right for a new action star and femme fatale to make a mark. The article mentions that Cena has bursitis in his elbows and hips as well as degenerative disc in his neck.
Speaking of the WWE Champion, John Cena, he is set to appear on Live with Regis and Kelly this morning at 9 AM on ABC and will make his first appearance on the Howard Stern Show this Wednesday. Expect the WWE marketing machine to be in full effect this week for "The Marine". There will be a lot of talk in the local and national media this week regarding the release of "The Marine".
The New York Times Media & Advertising section features an article on Brooke Hogan. The article states that when FHM Magazine decided to use Brooke Hogan on the cover of their November issue, they contacted their liquor advertisers, moving those ads back to the December edition to prevent it from appearing as if the alcohol companies were attempting to market off a woman who was not of legal age to drink. Brooke Hogans CD has been getting a big push over at WWEs website in the last few weeks.
