Cutting Edge with Randy Orton and Edge in the ring starts the show. Edge says its his birthday. Edge shows footage of Orton's win last week. Edge introduces Eric Bischoff, then Jonathan Coachman, and then Mr. McMahon. All 3 state why they should be referee at Cyber Sunday. Bischoff plugs his book and says how DX are not controversial by invading WCW or harrasing McMahon. Bischoff says they know nothing about controversy including Vince – he doesn't look to happy about that comment. Coachman says DX has not respected his authority and begs the fans to pick him so he can prove he is not a joke. McMahon says he would show DX the same respect and dignity they showed him. McMahon announces that for personal reasons Shawn Michaels is not here tonight, so Triple H will face Orton in the rubber match tonight with Edge as the special ref. McMahon asks Coach what his plans are to make sure the WWE Championship doesn't leave RAW. Vince turns down Coach's plans, and Vince decides the fans in the US and the UK can decide who Cena will face tonight – choices are Big Show, King Booker or Coach. Voting can be done by cell or on wwe.com.
Match 1 – Johnny Nitro vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Carlito. Jeff Hardy watches from ringside. Carlito hits the back cracker on Benjamin for the win. Hardy applauds Carlito after the match.
Todd Grisham asks John Cena if he's at all worried about the possibilty of losing the WWE Title at Cyber Sunday. John says he's not worried about anything – he asks Grisham who he has voted for grisham wouldn't say so Cena got in his face and fired him up – grisham snaps and says he voted for Booker and hopes he beats Cena. Cena calls Grisham gay and tells Show and Booker they should be the ones who are worried.
Backstage, Torrie Wilson comes onto Carlito and says if he wants to talk about his tough time not being with Trish anymore then she is there for him. They arrange to meet after the show.
Mickie James makes her way to commentary to see who her opponent will be for Cyber Sunday. The stipulations for the finals will be either a No DQ Match, a Diva Lumberjack match or a Submission Match.
Match 2 – Women's Championship Tournament for a place in the finals – Lita vs. Maria. Lita def. Maria with the DDT. Maria slipped out during this which we've posted pics of below. Lita gets in Mickies face after the match.
Edge makes his way to the ring to referee. Triple H asks the crowd if they're ready – then he does the usual "no, i said are you ready?" then he turns and decks Edge with the mic and Pedigrees him. He then said "i guess he wasn't ready" which got a pop from the crowd.
Match 3 – Triple H vs. Randy Orton. Edge has now gone from ringside, and Jack Doan has taken his place as referee. Edge runs to the ring and assaults Triple H, causing a DQ finish. Orton and Edge start to double team him and Edge uses a chair on him – Randy goes for the RKO on the chair but Triple H slams him down on it. Edge spears Trips sending him to the outside where he gets his sledgehammer. Edge runs from the ring and Trips hits Orton in the guts with it.
Match 4 – Umaga (with Estrada) vs. Hacksaw Jim Duggan & Eugene in a handicap match. Umaga squashes Duggan as Eugene cowers behind Lilian.
Backstage Bischoff warns Coach he doesnt want to get in the ring with Cena. Coach says he's not afraid anymore and that he will beat down the next gut to walk out the locker room, just to warm up – out walks Ron Simmons and Coach runs, Ron stares down the hall and says "damn."
Flair makes his way to the stage and puta over all three legends that he could be teaming up with at Cyber Sunday. Flair says he has great history with all three men and then introduces firstly Sgt. Slaughter, then Roddy Piper and finally Dusty Rhodes. All 3 legends say why the fans should vote for them, Slaughter cuts a military promo telling the fans to vote for him to take on the Puke Squad and thata an order. Rhodes cuts one of his promos and says how great t would be to team up 2 legends in himself and the "6 time" world champion Ric Flair. I think Dusty meant 16 time!
Backstage Grisham interviews Cryme Tyme – as he is talking to JTG – Shad steals the RAW monitor behind them and take it to the ring. They then unplug one of the monitors at the announce booth and hook up the flatscreen backstage monitor.
Match 5 – Charlie Haas and Viscera vs. Cryme Tyme. Shad & JTG hit their finisher on Haas for the win.
Backstage Booker & Big Show argue over who should face Cena tonight both saying that the other guy should be the one after they notice Coach is laughing at them. they both say that he should be the one to face Cena.
Booker, Big Show and Coach all make their way to the ring, and with 74% of the vote – Coach will be facing Cena.
Match 6 – Coachman vs. John Cena. Cena makes his way to the ring. Coach backs up the ramp but Cena runs after him and drags him back by the ear. When they get back to ringside Show spears Cena and he and Booker irish whip him into the steel steps. Show and Booker join commentary. Cena makes short work of Coach and delivers he FU then the STFU for the submission victory.
