JR's Contract, Angle, SSeries, & Lots More News

Lita has posted a blog on her band's MySpace page (myspace.com/theluchagors13). Regarding her future plans, Lita said the following, "I also want to make it clear, I am not leaving wrestling to play in the band. It's not like this is my new job or anything, I don't plan on playing HHH theme @ wrestlemania this year, so don't be dissapointed But I do plan to keep up with this site and let you guys know whats goin on. You guys have been so helpful already, we've gotten show offers from as far away as Australia and the UK, people offering to do promotions and interviews, and whatever else. All I can say right now is THANK YOU and hold on, sit tight, we're still kinda coming up with a plan. We want to record in January, start to play a few out of town shows after that, then kinda go from there, but not get ahead of ourselves."

WWE HEAT is featuring some new matches on this week's show for a change. Matches taped for the latest show include The Highlanders vs. Cade & Murdoch, Shelton Benjamin vs. Super Crazy, Charlie Haas vs. Fred Sampson and "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan vs. Rob Conway in the main event.

Apparently, radio ads for last year's Survivor Series aired on WBCN radio in Boston on Thursday. The ad touted the return of The Undertaker, Ric Flair vs. HHH in a last man standing match and John Cena defending the title against Kurt Angle.

Jim Ross has posted a blog entry on his official website regarding the new one-year contract he just signed with WWE. According to Ross, he signed the contract on Monday. He still enjoys his job, however, he wants to take things one year at a time because he doesn't want to outlive his welcome nor does he want to stay past his time if his work was to suffer. Also, he's getting older (he'll turn 55 in January) and dealing with the amount of traveling required for the job can be quite a hassle. This is why J.R. signed a one-year deal rather than a long-term one.
