Before the ECW December to Dismember PPV went on the air tonight, the dark match live in the James Brown Arena in Augusta, Georgia saw Stevie Richards defeat Rene Dupree.

WWE has a full stage setup (in Christmas colors) for the PPV, featuring the ECW logo inside a ornament-like circle and a traditional Titantron screen on the left side of the stage. It's a much larger scale production in comparison with the ECW One Night Stand PPVs.

WWE is selling a PPV T-shirt live at the venue, featuring the six competitors competing in the Elimination Chamber.

The Arena is said to be full but a number of the upper-tier sections are tarped off.
