Mercury Update, Armageddon Notes, JR/WWE, Lots More

WWE.com has added a new article and photo regarding the injuries Joey Mercury had to his nose and left eye at the Armageddon PPV last night. As of now, it is believed Mercury will be out of action for at least two months. That is one nasty looking cut.

Oleg Prudius defeated Scotty 2 Hotty in a Dark Match before the Armageddon PPV last night in Richmond, VA.

Next year's Armageddon PPV will be in San Jose, California.

Tommy Dreamer has a new column up on ECW.com where he talks about old ECW slogans and suddenly has an optimistic view of the new ECW.

Jim Ross mentioned in his blog a few days ago about how he wanted to get New Year's Day off. It appears that WWE has denied him that request. Everyone is WWE is looking at the 1/1 edition of RAW (featuring John Cena vs. Kevin Federline) as a huge show for the company.
