Backstage RAW Notes, NYR PPV, ECW, & More

WWE.com has an article about how several Miami Heat players are in attendance at tonight's Raw. As already seen on the broadcast, one of those players is Shaquille O'Neal. Included in the article are quotes from some of the players in attendance, including Jason Williams, Dorell Wright, and O'Neal.

For those wondering, Hulk Hogan was not at the show due to it being in Miami. And I can't believe I still need to say this, but The Rock was not there either.

The press conference for New Year's Revolution will air live on WWE.com tomorrow (Jan. 2) at 12:00p.m. at Kemper Arena in Kansas City, MO. John Cena, Armando Estrada, Jeff Hardy, Edge, Johnny Nitro, Melina, Kenny Dykstra and Mickie James are expected to take part. New Years Revolution is this Sunday, and of course, live play-by-play coverage will be available here on the site.

WWE.com has been compiling a list of the "Top 10 Stories of 2006" for the past week. The return of ECW came in as the #1 story of the year.
