– The word going around backstage is that Shawn Michaels is longtime due for time off. His recent grueling schedule has done numbers to him physically. Michaels has had a history of back problems and refuses to take pain killers to eliminate his discomfort. The long overseas flights are particularly tough on the superstar. With Triple H getting injured, Michaels is under heavy pressure to pick up the slack as WWE s roster is currently lacking.

– Subway s new commercial featuring WWE Champion John Cena along with spokesperson Jared Fogle aired during this past Sunday s slate of NFL playoff games.

– WWE has signed a deal with three mobile providers in Europe to deliver WWE Mobile content on international phones. Deals were signed in the United Kingdom with Orange, Heylife in Portugal, and Tele5 in Germany.
