Backstage Update On Chris Benoit, & More Notes

Despite what some people may think, Chris Benoit is not injured. He is simply being held off of television because WWE did not have a match for him at Sunday s No Way Out pay-per-view. Since there was no match for him, company officials felt that there was no reason to write him in on SmackDown. UPDATE: Just moments after we posted this we learned that Chris Benoit has been added to the PPV although his opponent is unknown at this time.

For the first time ever all three WWE weekly programs (RAW, SmackDown, and ECW) were the top rated shows for their respective networks this past week.
