New Hall Of Fame Inductees Revealed, WSX Update, More
As announced on RAW this week, "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes will be inducted into WWE's hall of fame on 3/31. No other names have been confirmed by the company, but we can now confirm that RAW announcers Jim Ross and "The King" Jerry Lawler will also be inducted into the hall of fame this year. No question, both deserve the invitations. The Wild Samoans – Afa and Sika have been contacted, and one would assume they will also be apart of the 2007 hall of fame class.
Episode 4 of MTV's Wrestling Society X was pulled due to a fireball thrown by Ricky Banderas at Vampiro, as an angle to build a title match later in the season. WSX producers and MTV will meet next week regarding the future direction of the project. As things stand, WSX will return to its normal time slot on Tuesday, February 27th at 10:30PM ET. As previously noted, "Scarred" will air on 2/20 in the WSX time slot. In addition, MTV has pulled all replays of WSX, but WSX replays are still available on other MTV networks.
According to Videobusiness.com, John Cena's "The Marine" ranked #6 (down from #2) among the top selling DVDs for the week ending 2/11.
