WWE & TNA Notes: Angle/Vince, Team 3-D, More
The Fairfield County Business Journal has an article up on who will succeed Vince and Linda McMahon in running WWE after they are no longer able to run the company. WWE's Gary Davis is quoted in the article saying the following: "Succession planning has been undertaken, and is an ongoing process. However, WWE expects that Vince McMahon will be leading WWE for many years to come."
KSDK Channel 5 in St. Louis has an interview up with Kurt Angle where he talks about his drug issues. He talked about how Vince McMahon forced him to do rehab while on the road, not giving him time off. He also talked about being "out of it" for two years due to all the drugs he was taking. Team 3-D is now the first tag team to hold the WWE, WCW, ECW, and NWA Tag Team Titles.
The May TNA PPV, Sacrifice, will be headlined by Christian Cage defending the NWA Title against Sting.
