HBK Injury Update, More RAW Angles For Tonight Revealed

WWE is estimating that Shawn Michaels will return from surgery in time for Survivor Series.

While nothing will be decided until Michaels gets a full evaluation this week, the feeling is that he will not be able to work this summer. He has been removed from all main-event plans for the third quarter of 2007.

Prior to opting for knee surgery, Michaels was reportedly set to headline against John Cena in a PPV main-event this summer.

Dave Meltzer is reporting that tonight's RAW is very important because they have to build up both the Saturday Night's Main Event that airs 6/2 (and will be taped next Monday in Toronto) and the One Night Stand show the next night in Jacksonville. The general idea of SNME is to run tag matches with the people in the PPV main events. For ONS, the idea is "ECW-style" gimmick matches hardcore style as the draw probably with similar match-ups as we saw last night. Pretty much all the key matches are being decided upon today and have to be made clear today and tomorrow.
