Jim Ross Comments On Y2J-WWE, Edge's Win, More

Jim Ross has updated his blog over at www.jrsbarbq.com. In this edition, he speaks on his opinions of WWE.com providing the spoiler that Edge won the title on Smackdown, if Chris Jericho coming back to the WWE and more. Here are a few excerpts:

On WWE.com posting Smackdown Spoilers
There were a slew of comments this week about the announcement of Edge winning the world title prior to it airing on Friday Night Smackdown. This is a subject matter that probably doesn't have a totally right or totally wrong answer. I wasn't personally bothered by the announcement and as a matter of fact it makes me really want to see how it all comes about and I have already set my DVR just in case something causes me to miss the original airing. Those that don't like it will never like it but some on the fence may have a definitive opinion on this matter if the Smackdown TV rating is enhanced this week. Time will tell as it relates to the ratings but I know I will not miss this TV show this week come hell or high water.

On Edge Being on Smackdown
I have said many times that Edge is one of the best the WWE has ever had in the ring or on the mic. Edge being the World's Champion will most likely see him end up on Smackdown more often than he will appear on Raw which disappoints me. Edge is a student of the game who will make a viable champ. Again.

On a Jericho Return to the WWE
Yes George, I agree that Chris Jericho returning sooner than later would be a welcomed sight for many. However, this is a decision that the intelligent and talented Jericho must make for himself. If Chris is not mentally ready to return to the grind then it won't work. Some guys get off the road and never are able to adjust fully to a full time travel schedule again. I don't think Chris fits in that category and I would love to see him back on TV in the future. If I was forced to make a wager I would take the "over" that Jericho is back, perhaps as early as this year. And no I don't have any "inside" information. Sorry to you Oliver Stones out there. Perhaps this is simply wishful thinking on my part.
