What You Won?t See On SmackDown Tonight
Zalak Zaveri passed along the following report from this week's SmackDown taping to PWInsider.com:
-I saw Vince without his skullcap. His hair is growing back, but pretty slowly. Looks like he has a buzz cut pretty much.
-We saw Teddy Long who told us that the hillbilly team that was advertised last week on the show would be there. Not much else of interest with him but he is cool as well.
-We saw Sabu talking on his cell phone. The security kept us away from him even though he was standing right behind the barrier. A few minutes later, he hopped the barrier and just left the venue. Finding out he was released that day when I got home was pretty interesting.
-RVD was sitting in his car up until about 6:30. He left at 6:30 and just crossed the street to get food. Didn't talk to fans or anything. Came back to the building at around 7 (15 minutes before doors opened for fans). We were on level 2 of the parking garage, above where the superstars enter.
-During the commercial break during the New Breed's entrance, they cut a damn good promo I thought. Matt Striker introduced Elijah Burke and asked the audience to say it with him. People booed and he said we get an F. Then the Alpha Male told us to stop booing because 85-90% couldn't spell it. Too bad they don't give these guys TV time to do promos like that.
-We saw CM Punk at the autograph signing that Kennedy was supposed to do but did not make. A girl had a shirt on that said "I love Sexton Hardcastle" and CM laughed pretty hard about it. He snapped a picture of it with his cell phone and he said he was passing it along to Edge.
-Interestingly enough, when Ozzy Osborne arrived, he came with CM Punk and Bobby Lashley of all people.
-Lashley and Matt Hardy were the only people to approach fans after the show.
