Lots Of News To Start The Weekend - A Mixed WWE & TNA Bag
............... Here are some WWE news & notes to round out Friday:
Jim Ross has a new blog entry up where he talks about making a mistake on RAW, the passing of Sherri Martel, the new members of the RAW roster, Steve Austin's status, and more. Check out the full article at jrsbarbq.com.
WWE is very high on Dan Rodman right now. He was put into main event matches with John Cena at house shows last weekend so WWE could see how he handled big matches. Johnny Ace is really supporting Rodman so he may be called up soon. Rodman used to go as Daniel Rodimer on Tough Enough.
The finale of ABC's Fast Cars and Superstars will air this Sunday and feature John Cena.
Ken Kennedy has a new blog up on the FHM Magazine website where he talks about advice Steve Austin gave him about continuing to learn the business. Check out the blog at FHM's website located at fhmonline.com.
The Motley Fool website has an article up on the lack of success WWE has had with films thus far, but says they should continue doing features. Check out the article at Fool.com.
According to WWE.com, Deuce and Domino will be defending the WWE Tag Team Titles in an "open challenge" at WWE Vengeance
............... And we'll finish with some TNA news & notes to start the weekend:
Scott Steiner is now back in the United States after being released from the hospital in Puerto Rico and taking a cruise ship back to the states (he is not yet allowed to fly).
TNA has basically written off Konnan, so don't expect to see him return. TNA plans to give Homicide and Hernandez a new push with Homicide as the mouthpiece for the team.
Next week's iMPACT! will feature only one match, Kurt Angle vs. Rhino vs. Christian Cage. TNA is billing it as the best match ever taped for iMPACT!.
